I am a practising Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. I have regular labour ward sessions and do my on-call duties as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist. My specialist interests are currently wide-ranging gynaecological disorders from fibroids, endometrial hyperplasia, endometriosis, advanced complex gynaecological surgery and advanced surgical abortion.
I have published over 175 research papers in scientific journals, book chapters, reviews and books and given over 100 lectures and presentations to learned societies in the fields of fetal medicine, benign gynaecology (including abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia), minimal access surgery, induction of labour and abortion. I have received grants from WellBeing of Women, National Health Institute for Research (Health Technology Assessment), Medical Research Council and various industry partners.
